but both clear, like fronts.

 Front: A prized piece! Probably no more than a
handful of curly cherry billets of this high quality
exist in the country right now. Best I have seen in 7
years. Figure runs right through it to the other side
too. Piece is blood red.

Back: There is a 1.25" band of white wood running
an edge and then expanding at an end.

Tiger cherry at its best.
Perfect Resaw piece, or longer gun blank.
No flaws or imperfections anywhere.

 Front: Spectacular One of a Kind Piece!
Tiger cherry at its best. Usually curly cherry has a
more subtle quilt figure. Not this piece! The intensity
of this boards figure forces you to take notice.
Deep red in color too. There are a few bark pockets
close to the edge. These can be either filled, left as
they are all in a line.

Back: Some light planer skip and edge sapwood.
There is minor wane on this same edge. As a side
note, this minor edge wane and red colored
sapwood, are along the same edge as the bark
pockets that are on the front, this side is as good as
the front.

yesterday.  It looks really nice.  Thanks for
the extra piece, I will find a good use for
it, but it won't be thrown at the TV.  I don't
get as emotional about the Browns as I did
when I was a kid.  I find I am less likely to
be disappointed that way.  Our day will
come.  Good luck dealing with all the
Pittsburgh fans.  A wordworking friend of
mine a few years ago suggested I let my
mother in law's comments roll off my back
"like water on the back of a duck".  She is
easier to deal with now that I don't pay too
much attention to what she says, and I
